Change management used to be reserved for “big changes” like a new software implementation. Then, nothing would happen for a while and things would stabilize. Today, organizations experience constant change, large and small. Change management is not enough anymore. We need change resilience. This interactive online course will give you the information and tools you need to navigate resistance to change and move forward intentionally and productively. After this course, you will:
- Understand of the process of change, individually and organizationally
- Build self-awareness of the personal impact of change
- Develop skills to build change resilience and lead others through change
- Provide a framework for creating and implementing a change management plan
This course can be taken individually or as part of the Supervisory Management Certificate Program. This is an elective course. Take three core classes plus three electives in five years to earn your certificate.

Heather Kennedy earned her BA degree in Liberal Arts from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. She also has MA degrees in Executive Coaching and Organizational Psychology, both from William James College in Boston. She is recognized as a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP) and is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner.
