Program Description

What’s cooking?

Have you always wanted to learn more about Indian cooking? In this class, you will create and sample authentic Indian cuisine using fresh ingredients and authentic spices. Learn the subtleties of Indian cooking techniques including how and when to add herbs and spices for the best results. You will make recipes for all courses including entrees, vegetables and sides, appetizers and more. The class will provide all ingredients and hands-on instruction. You will leave with printed recipes to take home.


Geeta Dhand is a native of northern India and has been living in Wisconsin for over 25 years. She shares her native culture by teaching cooking classes at Main Street Market in Rice Lake and other locations.
