How do I register?

Online registration is encouraged. Payment by credit card is required at the time of registration – we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?

Yes, you will receive a confirmation via email. You will receive another email with more information about the program, several weeks before the camp starts. 

What is the schedule?

The Chippewa Falls session will be at Hillcrest Elementary, June 15-25. The Eau Claire session will be at Robbins Elementary, July 6-16. Camps run Monday through Thursday for two weeks (no classes on Friday). Students will be supervised during transitions between classes.

How Does Pricing Work? 

There is a $15 materials fee for each class. 

Are waitlists available if a class is full?

There will be no waitlist for Summer Institute.Yes, if a class is full, it will say WAITLIST next to it in step 4 of registration. If both the class you would like is full and waitlist are full, it will say SOLD OUT. You will want to have several class options ready in case your first or second choice is unavailable.

How old does my child need to be to attend Summer Institute?

Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2020. 

Do the grade levels listed for each class refer to the grade my child just finished or the grade they will enter next fall?

The grade levels listed refer to the grades children will be entering in the fall of 2020.

Are meals provided?

The Eau Claire Area School District will be providing free breakfast (7:30-8 a.m.) and lunch (12-12:45 p.m.) for the Eau Claire session in July at Robbins Elementary. When you register, you will select which meals you plan for your child to have.

The Chippewa Falls session at Hillcrest Elementary will have a supervised time for lunch, but students will need to bring a lunch with them from home.

Is transportation available?

Chippewa Falls Session

Transportation is not available.

Eau Claire Session

Busing will be available from Robbins Elementary to the Boys & Girls Club and the YMCA during the Eau Claire camp in July. You must register for afternoon programming at either the Boys & Girls Club or the YMCA. You must also register for busing at other transportation is available. You will need to arrange transportation for your child to and from the program site.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand life happens. Should you need to cancel your registration, you may substitute someone to take your place, at any time, at no cost to you. If we cancel a program, we will give you your money back. If you cancel, you will not receive a refund. If you are registered and do not attend the program, you are responsible for the full fee.
