Academy for Lifelong Learners Presenters

Share your knowledge and present your ideas

For over 30 years, the Academy for Lifelong Learners (formerly Senior Americans Day) has been providing engaging learning experiences for older adults in the Chippewa Valley and beyond. This event anticipates over 400 attendees, all participating in workshops throughout the day. These workshops can feature a variety of topics—health and wellness, diversity and inclusion, nature, crafts, history, finances, recreational activities, and more. Past programs have included flower arranging, tai chi, painting, kubb, playing the ukulele, historical events, and reminiscing.

Thank you for your interest in contributing to this event! We value the enthusiasm and expertise of those who wish to share their knowledge with our community.

At this time, we are no longer accepting workshop proposals for Academy for Lifelong Learners in 2025.

We encourage you to come back next year to share your proposals and continue your support of this event. If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact us at ce@uwec.edu.
