Academy for Lifelong Learners Presenters

Share your knowledge and present your ideas

For over 30 years, the Academy for Lifelong Learners (formerly Senior Americans Day) has been providing engaging learning experiences for older adults in the Chippewa Valley and beyond. This event anticipates over 400 attendees, all participating in workshops throughout the day. These workshops can feature a variety of topics—health and wellness, diversity and inclusion, nature, crafts, history, finances, recreational activities, and more. Past programs have included flower arranging, tai chi, painting, kubb, playing the ukulele, historical events, and reminiscing.

Would you like to volunteer your time and share your knowledge at UW-Eau Claire's Academy for Lifelong Learners? UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education  is currently accepting workshop proposals!
Each workshop session is 60 minutes in length.  The deadline to submit a proposal is December 6, 2024.

This is a volunteer/unpaid opportunity. You are not committed to participating in Academy for Lifelong Learners by completing this survey. Continuing Education has the right to accept or deny any submitted proposal.
UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education will review all proposals and make final selections in December 2024. We will contact you after the workshop selections are made.
