New Scholarship Opportunity for Fall 2026
University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Continuing Education in partnership with the Eau Claire Community Foundation, Royal Credit Union, and Pablo Foundation, is committed to strengthening local nonprofit organizations. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded to qualifying nonprofits to complete the Nonprofit Leadership Certificate offered by UW-Eau Claire’s Continuing Education.
Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Series Scholarships
This is an opportunity for scholarship support to complete the entire Nonprofit Leadership Certificate series.
- Participants must register for and attend all six courses in the certificate series
- All six courses must be taken within the Fall 2026 session
- Scholarships cannot be applied to individual courses or split across sessions

- October 15, 2026 – Lead with Confidence and Intention
- November 12, 2026 – Financial Management and Reporting
- December 10, 2026 – Strategic Planning for Success
- January 14, 2027 – Create and Maintain High Functioning Boards
- February 11, 2027 – Marketing and Communication
- March 11, 2027 – Fund Development

Fall 2026 Scholarship Application

- The applicant must be an employee or active board member of an established nonprofit organization
- The organization needs to be an established nonprofit organization.
- The organization aligns with Pablo Foundation’s mission and vision as well as their commitments.
- Most, if not all, of the organization’s impact must be in Eau Claire, Dunn, Chippewa or Rusk County, Wisconsin.
- In order to serve the greatest number of organizations, scholarships are limited to one per organization.
- Receiving a scholarship does not reserve a registration for the courses. A scholarship code will be provided to register for all 6 courses in the series. To utilize the scholarship, you will be registering for and attending the following six courses in session 1:
- Thursday, October 15, 2026- Lead with Confidence and Intention
- Thursday November 12, 2026 - Financial Management and Reporting
- Thursday, December 10, 2026 – Strategic Planning for Success
- Thursday, January 14, 2027 –Create and Maintain High Functioning Boards
- Thursday, February 11, 2027- Marketing and Communication
- Thursday, March 11, 2027 - Fund Development
- Each recipient is responsible for $300 of the total registration fees, and this must be paid at the time of registration. The remaining balance of the complete series registration will be provided by the sponsoring foundation(s).
- Please complete the application below and provide all the requested information. Your application will then be reviewed by UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education staff. If you are selected to receive a scholarship, you will be notified via email within 7 business days.
- If approved, you will need to register online and pay the remaining $300 of the fee at the time of registration.
