The Red Cedar Choir is a partnership with the UWEC - Barron County Music Department and surrounding communities. You will have the incredible opportunity to sing and be part of one of the best choirs in the area. It is open to all community members, high school age and older. Each year, the Red Cedar Choir offers public Holiday and Spring concerts. An audition may be required for new members. The choir is under the direction of Beth Joosten, Assistant Director of Choral Activities at UW‐Eau Claire. Joosten has been the director of the Red Cedar Choir since 2012.
Those under 18 must enroll and attend WITH a parent/guardian, and must show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or provide a negative COVID-19 test each week.
To ensure the safety of our participants and staff, all face-to-face programs offered through UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education will consider the current UWEC Campus policy and the potential risks to course participants when setting course requirements regarding masking and social distancing. Participants enrolled in face-to-face classes will be notified of the course safety requirements prior to the class starting.
