Lead with a Coaching Mindset
Today’s workforce wants more than a paycheck—they want purpose, growth, and leaders who invest in their success. While traditional command-and-control leadership may deliver short-term results, it often falls short in building engaged, innovative teams. A coaching approach changes that.
In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to lead like a coach—understanding when to use coaching, how to structure meaningful conversations, and how to build trust that drives performance. Through guided practice with peers and AI tools, you’ll develop practical skills you can apply immediately in your workplace. Grounded in current research and real-world experience, this program equips you to foster engagement, strengthen relationships, and support employee growth.
Program Objectives
- Define coaching in a direct supervisory context — what it is, what it isn't, and how it differs from managing, mentoring, and advising.
- Articulate the business case for coaching, including current data on engagement, productivity, and retention.
- Apply a situational leadership lens to determine when a coaching approach is appropriate versus other leadership styles.
- Leverage AI as an on-demand practice partner — helping you sharpen your questioning, listening, and feedback skills beyond the workshop.
- Explore peer coaching as a sustainable development tool.
